Open Forum Among The Housemates

With all the drama and tears today, it is just right to put all things to rest through an open forum. The housemates agreed to all sit down together in the living room to talk about the things that have been bothering them all this time. Tissue and water were placed in anticipation of a all-cry-out moment.

Zeke opened up the talk with an apology. Zeke said sorry to any housemate who got offended with the rough attitude he showed the other day. He said that he was just stressed out from the "secret task" and that he never meant to offend anyone.

Wendy immediately followed Zeke with her side of the story. Wendy told Zeke that she was not happy with hearing the F-word from Zeke, and that there have been several occassion when Zeke was too tactless. According to Wendy, she had tried so hard to understand Zeke, but to no avail, she continues to get offended with Zeke's words.

It was an emotional exchange of words between Zeke and Wendy in front of the other housemates. When Zeke realized that the talk was going nowhere and it was pointless to argue, Zeke approached Wendy and gave her a hug of peace. At this point, Wendy burst into tears as Zeke placed his arms around her.

Then came Gee-Ann's turn to say her piece. She told all the housemates that she had been affected by all the mistakes and violations she had committed. Unfortunately, the words and half-meant jokes from the other housemates were not doing any help for Gee-Ann.

If there was one thing that the housemates learned from the open forum was that one's shallow joke is one's serious offense. They all agreed that from then on, they will start to become honest to each and everyone in case they get offended with one's small words. They will be living with each other for quite some time, so they might as well be honest with one another. They also learned to respect their individual differences no matter how hard it may seem for them to understand everyone.

All is well that ends well. Let's hope that the open forum will strengthen the friendship among our 16 housemates.
