Don't Cry Out Loud

While the other housemates were inside the house having a night chat after dinner, Dionne sat alone by the fountain. Unknown to the others, the Cebuana beauty queen/actress was crying by herself. At first it seemed that Dionne was sick as she held a glass of water in her hand. However, it was until she uttered some words and began singing Your Love when it showed that
something was bothering her.

When Big Brother called the housemates to claim their grocery supplies in the storage room, Dionne took the opportunity to refill her glass of water. She also managed to go to the room and grab a picture frame which she concealed in her shirt for the others not to see. Dionne then went back to the fountain and resumed her solitary crying. She held the picture in her hand and began talking to the picture in her native Visayan dialect.

After a while, Dionne was caught by Mickey, and the latter figured that there was indeed a problem. However, Dionne just told Mickey that she was fine and she was just tired. Mickey offered a talk, but Dionne insisted that there was nothing to talk about.

It was until Dionne got freshened up when she went to Mickey for a talk. She told Mickey the things that had been bothering her. Apparently, Dionne was earlier called by Big Brother to clarify some matters. She was asked by Kuya on why was she sleeping in the boys' bedroom, and why in Zeke's bed specifically. Dionne reasoned that she finds the mattress of the boys more comfortable and that she sleeps in Zeke's bed so as not to clatter up the bed of the other boys.

Dionne was bothered on what the public could be thinking about her regarding sleeping in Zeke's bed. She confessed to Mickey that there was nothing serious going on between her and Zeke and that she loves her boyfriend very much. Dionne cannot understand why people are putting malice on it. Mickey then told Dionne that maybe Big Brother was just worried about her, that people may not fully understand her reason. Mickey further advised Dionne that people have no right to judge her because the public does not know what she truly is going through.

Dionne eventually felt better with the assuring words from Mickey. It seemed that Mickey knows the right things to say to comfort people, that is why most of the girls find it easy to talk to him. Will this magic help Mickey win the hearts of the other housemates and at the same time the public? Also, how will this revelation change the way Dionne relates with Zeke? Are we going to see a part two of the Bianca-Zanjoe issue during the Celebrity Edition?

Jeremy's 'babies'

Looks like Jeremy’s found new friends inside the PBB house: Gee-Ann’s dolls! The housemates were ordered to retire to their room until further notice, and Jeremy happily familiarized himself with Gee-Ann’s ‘family’… in a hilarious getting to know session!

First, Gee-Ann lent Jeremy Trevor, and this piqued the Japanese resident’s curiosity. He kept asking her why she had the doll with her always, and told everyone that he seriously wished to have children of his own one day, preferably twins. Maricris said: “Paano ka magkaka-anak, eh wala ka namang girlfriend!” And when the others suggested a one-night stand, Jeremy replied: “Hindi ganon, gusto ko patay na patay ako, tapos magkakaanak kami.” Kian then quipped, to everyone’s laughter: “Paano ka magkakaanak, kung patay ka na!”

Jeremy then asked Gee-Ann why she brought the doll with her wherever she goes, and even added a theory of his own: “Baka naman parang pagkain to, pwede mo kain-kainin pag dala-dala mo lang… parang potato chips!” Gee-Ann then told him that one of her dolls even celebrated its birthday inside the PBB house, and Big Brother even set up a party for ‘him’. Jeremy then exclaimed: “Tapos anong ginawa niyo after, kinain niyo ba?” Gee-Ann could only say: “Ano ba kayong mga Hapon talaga!”

The topic soon changed, but only after Bodie’s raucous laughter died down. And after Gee-Ann’s emotional night, it was good to see her laugh a little bit and get amused at Jeremy’s insatiable (and amusing) curiosity!

Open Forum Among The Housemates

With all the drama and tears today, it is just right to put all things to rest through an open forum. The housemates agreed to all sit down together in the living room to talk about the things that have been bothering them all this time. Tissue and water were placed in anticipation of a all-cry-out moment.

Zeke opened up the talk with an apology. Zeke said sorry to any housemate who got offended with the rough attitude he showed the other day. He said that he was just stressed out from the "secret task" and that he never meant to offend anyone.

Wendy immediately followed Zeke with her side of the story. Wendy told Zeke that she was not happy with hearing the F-word from Zeke, and that there have been several occassion when Zeke was too tactless. According to Wendy, she had tried so hard to understand Zeke, but to no avail, she continues to get offended with Zeke's words.

It was an emotional exchange of words between Zeke and Wendy in front of the other housemates. When Zeke realized that the talk was going nowhere and it was pointless to argue, Zeke approached Wendy and gave her a hug of peace. At this point, Wendy burst into tears as Zeke placed his arms around her.

Then came Gee-Ann's turn to say her piece. She told all the housemates that she had been affected by all the mistakes and violations she had committed. Unfortunately, the words and half-meant jokes from the other housemates were not doing any help for Gee-Ann.

If there was one thing that the housemates learned from the open forum was that one's shallow joke is one's serious offense. They all agreed that from then on, they will start to become honest to each and everyone in case they get offended with one's small words. They will be living with each other for quite some time, so they might as well be honest with one another. They also learned to respect their individual differences no matter how hard it may seem for them to understand everyone.

All is well that ends well. Let's hope that the open forum will strengthen the friendship among our 16 housemates.

New and old ties

Last night’s ‘gift’ for the housemates turned out to be more housemates, as Zeke and Dionne ushered in the new four. And while the twelve may have already caused a lot of adventures (and misadventures) inside the PBB, adding four more doesn’t seem so bad, after all.

There was a minor disagreement, however, between two housemates. Upon introducing the four, Wendy went in for a group hug, and immediately asked if anyone had cigarettes. Zeke sneered and told her: “You’re such a tool, Wendy… these are our new housemates!” Wendy then shot back: “You’re such a b****!” Fortunately, Bea poured some water on the fire by shouting: “Gusto niyong Coke? C2? Libre to dito!” Afterwards, Wendy confided in the confession room that she has had enough of Zeke.

This morning, it was also she who read to the housemates the second leg of their weekly task. Entitled ‘Glazing’, the housemates were take the second step in their pottery task by watching another instructional video after lunch, probably a way of treating their mugs, saucers and other works. After this the housemates had lunch, and the four quickly bonded with the others. Jeremy engaged in relationship talk with Mickey, Zeke and Robert, while Bea and Maricris spent some time outside.

And so it only takes one night inside the Big Brother house to create new ties… and sever old ones. Will Wendy and Zeke’s ill will for each other overwhelm the new housemates’ break-in inside the ‘real’ PBB house? Don’t miss a minute of it!

Housemates Face The Danger Of Going Home

Just when they are getting the hang of the fun with the other housemates, the secret housemates will learn that some good things never last. After being introduced to the first twelve housemates, Jeremy, Mikah, Bodie, Maricris are on their way to a bad and heart-breaking revelation from Kuya as two of them will have to pack their stuff out earlier than expected.

Everybody thought that for this second season there will be 16 housemates all in all. However, Kuya's plan is to pick only two from the four secret housemates to become the 13th and 14th housemates to complete the PBB Season 2 cast. Big Brother will leave the decision to the audience on who among Mikah, Bodie, Maricris, and Jeremy will have the chance to continue for another week.

Who are the two housemates who will make an early exit? How will this nomination affect the spirit of the four new housemates? Keep locked in to Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 for the latest news on who of the secret housemates will be sent home by the end of week three.

Make Way For the "Secret" Four

The truth was told and the silence was broken. After four days of living in secret, our four new housemates were finally introduced to the entire PBB cast. The merging of these two worlds will certainly heat up whatever fun and drama there was inside the house.

The road to this exciting event was at all easy for Zeke and Dionne as they had to sacrifice their sleep and lie to their mates just to carry out Kuya's task. Early today, Mickey accidentally saw Mikah in the bathroom. Mickey discreetly asked Zeke about the matter, but Zeke just discarded the question and went on with the secret. Good thing Mickey figured it would be best to keep his mouth shut about what he stumbled upon.

Later this afternoon, Big Brother gave his go signal to Zeke and Dionne. It was about time for the two to introduce the four "secret" housemates to everyone. But then Kuya decided to make the introduction special and unforgettable. Kuya thought it would be fun to have a "fashion show" inside the house, with the four as models.

Zeke and Dionne assisted Mikah, Jeremy, Maricris, and Bodie in the storage in fixing themselves up for the "fashion show." The boys styled their hairs with gel while the girls retouched with make-up. Tension and excitement filled the storage room as the countdown to the "truth" began.

Zeke and Dionne arranged four life-size gift boxes, two blue and two pink, in the living room. This was where the four new housemates were concealed prior to the "fashion show." All the other housemates were gathered up in the living room as Zeke and Dionne told the truth.

Then the "fashion show" began, and all the other housemates had fun while the four strut their stuff in the catwalk. One by one, the gift boxes were opened and each housemates introduced themselves to their audience. After that, the newbies were given a warm welcome with a tour inside the house and an orientation about the rules.

What can we expect now that we have 16 young and cool people inside the house? Are we going to see friendships to form, conflicts to heat up, and love to prosper?

That's one smart Mickey

Dionne and Zeke have been living double lives inside the PBB house; in addition to their life with their fellow housemates, they also tend to the ‘secret housemates’ as a graveyard task. They have done well so far… but is it well enough to outsmart Mickey?

This early morning, Mickey woke up for a quick bathroom break. He passed by the cubicles and noticed Zeke helping out one of the ‘others’ as they prepared to take a bath, and even saw Mikah behind the translucent glass panes in the shower. Mickey nonchalantly took a peek, but quietly went about his business. However, he checked Zeke’s bed right after…

Later, Mickey approached Zeke and asked him a simple question: “Is the task hard? The task with the others?” Zeke looked a little shook up with the question, but still kept his cool. The other housemates have also been suspecting that something weird is going on, because of the missing dining tools and some sounds they’ve been hearing through the night. Mickey, however, did not divulge his observations just yet; either he has assumed that the secret task has consequences that may put Zeke and Dionne in danger (which is true, as their failure grants them automatic nominations) or rather because he wishes to reveal it in his own time.

Will Zeke and Dionne be able to fend off the crafty Mickey, or will they fail the secret task and be among the nominees for eviction?

Secrets and Lies

It has been just a few days, but Kuya's "secret" task is already causing some problems and squabbles among the concerned housemates. The plan was for the assigned housemates to accomplish the task, but it seems that Zeke, Dionne, and the four isolated housemates were on the verge of a major breakdown.

At the start of week three, we saw the entrance, or sort of, of four new housemates. However, Jeremy, Maricris, Bodie, and Mikah were kept in a secret room unknown to the other housemates. Only Zeke and Dionne were told about the whereabouts of these four new housemates, and the two were assigned by Big Brother to watch over the four neophytes. Zeke and Dionne must provide the supplies for the four and assist them in any way unobtrusively.

Zeke and Dionne had to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to help the four in cooking their meals in the kitchen. While the rest of the housemates slept, the two were wide awake doing what Kuya asked of them. This tough shift affected Zeke's energy, as because of the lack in sleep, he felt sluggish almost the entire day. He was basically sick, but had to make up excuses so he'd not rouse any suspicion.

There was another problem on the part of the four neophytes. They noticed that their food and toiletries supplies were insufficient, and this made them question Zeke and Dionne's efficiency. However, it was clear that the two were just trying their best to not let the others suspect.

Will Zeke and Dionne see themselves through the end of Kuya's task? How long must the four wait until all the lies and secrecy are put to rest? With all the drama and conflict, we just can't seem to wait when the two worlds collide.

Dissent among the four

It’s been only a few days since the last four housemates were ushered into the secret room, and they have been getting along fine… except for this morning. Bodie, Maricris, Mikah and Jeremy may be doubly isolated from the outside world, being strangers to even the other housemates – but only several hours ago, conflicts began to arise.

The four were beginning to complain about Zeke and Dionne’s secret tasks. They complained among themselves that their food and toiletries delivery were incomplete and weren’t prepared enough. However, it was a difficult task for the two since they had to wake up earlier than the others, and let the four cook their food and do other duties as the others slept; so it obviously takes a lot out from them during the day.

Bodie was telling the other housemates about the positions of the cameras within the Big Brother house. He explained that he and his family, who are self-confessed PBB addicts, have taken a tour of the house before; but little did he know that this story would come back to haunt him. After eating, at the signal of ‘Hawak Kamay’, they were blindfolded and led to their rooms – except for Bodie, who was seemingly left outside. Afterwards he was advised by Big Brother to never reveal the camera placements again.

The three were also called into the confession room, and when asked how they were, Jeremy divulged that he noticed that the two girls found him ‘plastic’ and difficult to get along with. This came as a surprise for the two, because they allegedly never saw it that way, and soon after they were exchanging words.

Will these four ever get along? Will Zeke and Dionne be able to shed light to the situation?

Tanghalang Secret Garden

While waiting for further instructions from Big Brother, our four new housemates decided to kill time with music. The four had no inhibitions about performing in front of their other mates, either they are already confident with each other or they are just too bored to feel embarrassed. We get to see future performers in our four new friends.

Jeremy was the first to be called on the spot. Because of his Japanese familiarity, Jeremy was tasked by his housemates to sing a Nihongo song. The other housemates didn't mind not understanding any of the lyrics, they just want to her Jeremy sing in Japanese. Prior to his singing, Jeremy told his fellow housemates the message of his song. He said that it was something about a man singing to the girl her loves. The girl apparently had her heart broken.

After the intro, our Jeremy-san then hit the stage and sang a Japanese lovesong.

Bodie was then called to follow. Bodie took some time before belting it out as he can't think of a particular song to sing. The two girls suggested that he sing a ballad, and when Mikah asked him to sing some thing from the Backstreet Boys, Bodie reacted "Ang bakya naman nun." Bodie then sang I Could Not Ask For More from Edwin McCain.

Mikah was very reluctant at first to sing in front of her housemates as she was very nervous. She said she rather perform in front of a big audience where in she won't have to see every single facial reaction compared to a small audience where it is easy to get intimidated. But after some encouragement from her housemates, Mikah amazed the rest with her small but sweet voice. Mikah sang the mild version of Sana Maulit Muli. Mikah can indeed carry a tune, and the other three gave her a warm applause.

As a closing performance for their Star In A Million-like show, the four housemates sang in chorus. The group took some time and thought about the perfect song to sing. At first the girls asked Jeremy to sing another Japanese song, but Jeremy insisted that they all sang together. After a while, the four began singing the chorus part of Pangako Sa 'Yo.

It was nice to see that our four new housemates all have showmanship. In the next few weeks, we may see more performance like this from the housemates. Maybe by the time the two groups have been formally introduced, Mikah and Wendy can sing together.

Of Mugs and Switches

The housemates have always dealt with two tasks in the same day, but two tasks in the same day… at the same time? Big Brother tests their creativity, hand-eye coordination, and multitasking skills as he gives them two joint activities for today.

First off, their ‘Harry Potter’ weekly task was explained to them this morning, so when they were told to stay in their rooms after lunch, they thought that a big pottery activity was on its way. Turns out they were right, but not totally right – when they were finally let outside, they saw a large, shiny red ball with a switch under it. While figuring out its purpose (and while Kian, Nel, Bruce and the others made a game out of it a la ‘magic 8-ball’), it was soon made clear to them that it was a task, too.

Titled ‘O Ilaw’, the housemates were to closely monitor three balls placed in the kitchen, living room, and garden. For the next 24 hours the balls will light randomly, and the housemates will be given 10 seconds to switch it off. This required at least one housemate near the balls, and soon they began taking shifts.

The signal for the weekly task soon sounded, and the housemates were commissioned to craft mugs out of the clay provided. Wendy, Saicy and the others soon shaped the clay into balls and started molding it into a mug – well, mug-like form. But they still had to bother with the lights, and so everyone worked near them; except for Bruce, who took it upon himself to sit with the one in the middle of the bridge.

And so what started as a lazy afternoon soon evolved into a very busy one. Will Wendy and the others do well with the weekly task? Will the others be able to switch off the lights before the time limit? Will Bruce stop staring blankly into a large, red ball with a light inside it? Only time will tell!

The best of both worlds

Week three inside the Big Brother house welcomes a complicated but exciting twist as four housemates were secretly admitted into the house during the weekend. And with Dionne and Zeke as the only ones to know and keep this secret (at the cost of a nomination), the excitement inside the house is now doubled.

The housemates just received their first weekly task, through a VTR showcasing basic pottery know-how. They were asked to bring out the inner artist in them by engaging in pottery tasks, despite having little or no experience in the craft. But perhaps because of the confidence they earned in the new housemates, or the will to do better after failing last week’s task, the housemates decided to up the ante by betting 75% of their weekly allowance.

Meanwhile, Mikah, Maricris, Bodie, and Jeremy started the week on a high note, despite being cooped up in a secret room. They decided to keep their blood flowing by doing some exercises, with Maricris leading the way. The four were all laughs as they did sit-ups, kicked their legs in the air, and did a quick jog inside the small room. They soon tired, however, and took a quick nap. But they have to be wary since some of the housemates, especially Gee-Ann, are beginning to notice that something else is in the house.

Will the housemates be successful in their new weekly task? Will the ‘other’ housemates survive isolation in their secret holding room? And will Dionne and Zeke be able to keep their secret and gain immunity for the first nomination?

Secret Places, Secret Housemates

A new twist has happened in day 13 of Pinoy Big Brother as not only did Big Brother clandestinely welcomed 4 secret housemates but he also revealed secret places inside the Big Brother House.

With their eyes covered, the four secret housemates were ushered inside Big Brother’s sandy, secret garden by hosts Bianca Gonzales, Mariel Rodriguez and Jason Gainza.

One of the 4 housemates who will stay inside the secret garden is Jeremy Hidano. Despite growing up in Japan and being raised by a Japanese step-father, this 20-year-old is proud to say that he is 100 percent Filipino.

Another secret housemate who grew up far from the Philippines was Maricris Dizon. Growing up in Italy, Maricris recalled that she did not experience any discrimination and she had a harmonious life living abroad.

The third person to enter the secret garden was ‘kikay’ girl Mikah Dizon. If some people think that she is lucky because of her endowments, this 20-year-old student from Baguio thinks otherwise.

Last to enter the secret garden was self-confessed PBB fan Bodie Cruz. Son of veteran actor, Tirso Cruz III, Bodie admitted that he had never been with strangers and joining PBB was the biggest risk he has ever taken.

The four secret housemates were left inside the garden without their basic needs.

While the 4 secret housemates made their way inside the secret garden, Big Brother called housemates Zeke and Dionne inside the confession room and he gave to them his next instruction – to furtively provide the secret housemates with their necessities.

Big Brother added that they should not tell anyone about the secret housemates because it would mean an automatic nomination for eviction for them.

However, Big Brother assured the two housemates that if they are successful with their task, both of them will have immunity from the first nomination.

Will Zeke and Dionne fail the task Big Brother gave to them? What will happen to the 4 secret housemates and what is in store for them inside the secret garden?
