The second day inside the Pinoy Big Brother house proved to be as difficult as the first for the six housemates after they made the same mistake of missing Big Brother's cue.
"Ngayon pa lang nangyari sa aking bahay na pabalik-balik ang mga housemates sa confession room," Big Brother told Wendy who was reprimanded for changing clothes inside the storage room.
The other housemates had also changed clothes inside the storage room after they were given the task of learning Samba from Saicy, who was told to teach the group to dance.
"Hindi natin pinag-iisipan ang instructions. Parang naglalaro lang tayo," Wendy told the others after she was verbally scolded.
For their punishment, the group was ordered to memorize all the house rules and take 30 sacks of sand from the storage room to the sand box by the garden. Big Brother said they must not spill a grain of sand in the process.
Following the task, Saicy was finally allowed to remove the handcuff connected to Mickey. Big Brother said he was satisfied with her performance as dance instructor.
The afternoon saw the housemates starting work on their sand castle, their first major task for the week. The sand castle, based on a prototype beside the sand box, is due on Friday.
Nel, who was unable to bring a beachwear, opted to remove his pants while doing the task. He wore his underwear to be safe from Big Brother's punishment because the housemates were ordered to change into their beachwear while building the project.
Later, Big Brother called each housemate to the confession room and asked them about their day.
"Mahirap. Pero nakikita ko po ang effort nila particularly ni Saicy," Mickey said in his broken Filipino.
Gee-Ann came next. She was in tears when she told Big Brother how she misses her parents. She said she had a wonderful day with the others even though they failed to do some tasks right.
Big Brother, meanwhile, led Nel to confess that he finds Wendy beautiful. The housemate, however, said: "Hanggang friends lang kami ni Wendy kasi may boyfriend siya."
Wendy, on the other hand, complained that some of the housemates were not giving their all-out performance in their tasks.
"May iba hindi nagbibigay ng kanilang best. Baka hindi pa nailalagay sa utak nila ang mga dapat na gawin," Wendy said, particularly referring to Ezekiel who was the reason why they missed lunch.
For his part, Ezekiel told Big Brother that he was sorry and felt really bad for alerting the others for lunchtime. He apologized to each housemate after promising Big Brother that he will never make the same mistake again.
