Doggone it!

The housemates woke up this morning with a new task… and some new companions to boot! Nope, it wasn’t a surprise visitor, nor was it the other housemates that are about to enter. They were instead greeted by a pair of dogs!

The task called for them to play a PBB version of ‘Monkey in the Middle’. They were to strand in a circle, with the taya in the middle. They were then provided a small toy football, and were to toss it to any person, as the taya would try desperately to catch it. The stakes were upped, however, when the dogs were to join in the fun as well! And since the game was held in the garden, they had to make sure that no foot (or paw) wreck the sandcastle they have been building!

This task made it quite an enjoyable morning for our housemates. Their four-legged friends were of course attracted to the football, and couldn’t help but make a catch for it as well. Everyone was shrieking as they expected to catch the toy, only to have two mutts follow suit! Nel practiced his high notes as the dogs tried to grab the toy from his hands with their teeth, and Gee-Ann would look hopelessly as the toy sailed towards her, and hear the dogs yelping as they jumped to her. Mickey, who seemed to be a dog lover himself, patted them on the heads as if they were his own pets. Wendy, on the other hand, had a ‘Zeke moment’ when she slid on the grass while trying to run away from the playful dogs!

After this fun-filled activity, they took a bath and prepared for lunch, but not before bidding goodbye to their four-footed playmates!
