An attitude problem

Wendy was called into the confession room while the housemates were wondering how to ration the remaining buko juice into twelve glasses for Big Brother. After a few minutes, she went out and asked Mickey to join her outside, to talk about one of their housemates.

“Kailangan daw nating gawan ng paraan yung kay Jasmin,” Wendy told Mickey. “Dapat daw turuan ng mga nauna yung mga bagong dating.” The housemates were well aware of Jasmin’s rather errant attitude, and Big Brother trusted the two mature members of the household to address it. “Ayoko siyang kausapin,” Wendy remarked while explaining the task to Mickey, and described the times when she would take over for the Room Service task and have the cooking mess up because of her doing, as well as her outburst a few moments back over the buko juice folly. Mickey agreed that Jasmin certainly had a know-it-all air, and said: “Kailangan nating iparamdam na merong mali.”

Bea was also listening in, and begged Mickey to break it to her gently. “Hindi naman pwedeng ganon kaagad,” she said. “Dalawang araw? Not enough.” But then Wendy reminded her: “Hindi ka naman namin sinabihan about anything na offensive, kase wala naman eh. Pero siya meron.” Bea finally agreed, but told Mickey not to make her notice that she was being cornered.

The three also talked about Kian getting offended over one of Jasmin’s comments, and his reply: “Ganyan ka pala talaga ah.” And knowing Kian’s extroverted and friendly attitude, there was no doubt that Jasmin indeed had an attitude problem. They also noted during their joke time a few minutes back that, when Jasmin cracked a joke, everyone laughed sarcastically. And so Mickey took it upon himself to talk to Jasmin tonight about her attitude.

How will Mickey address Jasmin’s attitude problems without hurting her feelings? Will she acquiesce to his advice, or will she simply turn a deaf ear?
