Use your coconut!

Bruce arrived with their activity for the day; and while it had nothing to do with the weekly task, it still required food nonetheless. They were told to prepare buko shake, using the ten coconuts placed in the storage room. The catch: they weren’t to use any sharp objects!

‘Gamitin ang coconut’ was the name of the task, and rightfully so; it required the housemates to knock meat and juice out of the coconuts using any corner, any stone, any blunt object inside the house. So Kian took a hammer out of the toolbox, determined to pound the edible part out of those hard shells!

After Mickey took a saucepan to hold the juice, Zeke grabbed a coconut and forcefully pounded it against the side of the pool. Robert looked for a stone with a rather pointed edge, and did the same. But Kian was the first to draw juice out of it using his trusty hammer; and soon after the ingredients for the shake was being prepared.

The housemates celebrated their success by each having a glass of the shake, and relished in their victory. Soon they were cracking jokes and playing a ‘word connection’ game when the bell for Room Service sounded. And their laughter turned into shock when they saw what was next on Big Brother’s menu: several glasses of buko shake!
